The month of Yule logs is over, the month of king cakes has been digested, but the festivities are far from over. Make way for pancakes with Chandeleur, and hearts and chocolates with the month dedicated to Cupid and Valentine’s Day. So, what are we doing in February? We’re celebrating love, of course, but that’s not all! Here are 7 things to do this month in Marseille!
1Take advantage of warm winter days to visit the Château d’If and the Frioul Islands
Are you familiar with Alexandre Dumas’ Count of Monte Cristo? If you haven’t read it yet, we highly recommend you see the film released in 2024, starring Pierre Niney – it’s simply incredible! Action, costumes, emotion! Anyway, that’s not the point. All this to say that it’s thanks to the story of Monte Cristo that Château d’If has become so famous! If you love history and adventure, this is the island for you. If you love deserted beaches and exploring on foot, the Frioul Islands are the place to be! Either way, you’ll be amazed by what awaits you!
2See the Jok’air concert at CEPAC Silo on February 20

A talented artist already followed by hundreds of thousands of people, Jok’air is coming to Marseille to sing with us on February 20, 2025 at Cepac Silo! With his first album, Jok’Rambo, certified gold in 2019, and several others released over the years, the artist has made a name for himself and rocked many a stage in France. So, are you ready to move to the rhythm of his flow? If you’d like to see other artists, we’ve got the list of concerts for 2025!

5. Extend the joys of winter with the Cassis ice rink
It’s become a real winter tradition in Cassis, just a stone’s throw from Marseille! We usually go there to see the calanques, but in winter there’s plenty to see and do! The ecological skating rink will entertain young and old until February 23, 2025. On this 180 m2 synthetic skating rink, with no ice and no electricity, you’ll have more than enough to improve your triple axel (don’t forget your gloves!)!
6. Add art to your February by discovering the beautiful exhibitions in and around Marseille.
For Valentine’s Day, why not take your loved one on a journey of wonder, learning and questioning?
