Overlooking the Comtat Venaissin plain for nearly a thousand years, Château de Thouzon has a fascinating history. A former fortified monastery built in the 11th century, it once housed a community of Benedictine monks. Over time, the site was transformed and fortified to protect the inhabitants during periods of conflict. Although it is now in ruins, several remarkable features can still be seen, such as its old chapels, towers, and ramparts.
