Often overlooked by the people of Marseille, the Toursky Theater takes its name from the poet Axel Toursky. Founded in 1970 in what was once just an old warehouse in the 3rd arrondissement, the theater quickly established itself as a major player in Marseille’s contemporary cultural scene. A true artistic laboratory and creative hub, the Toursky will host sumptuous candlelit concerts in 2022. From jazz classics to Tchaikovsky’s sublime ballet *The Nutcracker*, including Queen’s greatest hits and the iconic soundtracks of your favorite Japanese anime, you can already hear the sound of violins echoing off the walls of this legendary venue with its red seats.
