Carnoux-en-Provence

Treat yourself to a complete change of scenery with this 14km hike. Starting from Carnoux-en-Provence, you can admire the wooded hills and sublime vegetation. And if that long walk has made you thirsty, stop off at the Cassidain vineyard, close to Carnoux.
Col and Calanque de Sormiou
Although Marseille’s calanques retain their splendor all year round, thecalmer atmosphere and shimmering colors of autumn make them an ideal setting for exploration. For spectacular immersion, head for the Col de Sormiou, nestled in the Marseilleveyre massif at an altitude of 180 meters. Let yourself be tempted by the 1.5-hour hike: the trail that begins here promises breathtaking panoramas before leading you directly to the magnificent Calanque de Sormiou. Once there, enjoy a gourmet break at the Le Château de Sormiou restaurant, renowned for its breathtaking views over the Mediterranean Sea.
Sainte-Victoire
If the hills of Sainte-Victoire ring a bell, it’s probably because Cézanne immortalized them in his paintings. Take a dizzying stroll along the steep paths to the summit. But be warned: if you’re afraid of heights, the Sainte-Victoire peak rises to an altitude of 1,011 metres!
Cap Canaille
Between Cassis and La Ciotat, the 363-metre-high Cap Canaille offers a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea. One of the highest maritime cliffs in France, it’s the ideal place to enjoy a sublime autumn sunset. Who will reach the highest point , the Bec de l’Aigle?

La Trévaresse

To the north of the Trévaresse plateau lies the Durance River. To the south, the Quatres Termes and the Aix plain. So expect to admire some sublime Provencal scenery! You can also enjoy the autumn colors of this largely untouched forest area.
