Calling all foodies in Marseille: the Refugee Food Festival is coming to town from June 20 to 27, 2026. To celebrate its tenth anniversary, this event—both gourmet and socially conscious—will take over several local venues for a week dedicated to sharing. From brunch to dinner, with a drink in the sun in between, get ready for a week of unique culinary discoveries.
A week of unprecedented collaborations and fusion flavors
What’s the concept behind the initiative? Breaking down barriers through cuisine by pairing Marseille restaurateurs with refugee chefs. Together, they create original four-handed menus. Beyond the culinary journey, this initiative aims to highlight culinary skills from around the world and accelerate the professional integration of these talents into the restaurant industry.
And for this tenth anniversary, the city’s partner establishments are opening their kitchens wide. On the agenda for this stop in Marseille: reinvented menus, bold fusions, and a friendly, festive atmosphere.
