This year, France will be celebrating its 41st European Heritage Days. An opportunity for Marseilles residents to (re)discover their city and its emblematic buildings, some of which are open to the public free of charge . Marseille Secrète unveils the program for these culture-focused days, and gives you a bonus list of some of the buildings to be visited free of charge.
Marseille and the European Heritage Days
On September 21 and 22, the city of Marseille will be abuzz with culture. For 2 days, Marseille will be the scene of the Heritage Days. In 2024, the themes are “heritage of routes, networks and connections, and maritime heritage”. During these Heritage Days, you’ll be able to discover and question the practices and know-how of those involved in heritage (public and private historic monuments, archaeological sites, museums, archives, intangible cultural heritage…)… A great program to discover on your own or with your family!
