From June 30 to September 26, 2026, head to all corners of the city for aneclectic lineupthat will delight audiences of all ages. As part of the 31st edition of the“Ciné Plein-Air Marseille”festival, Les Écrans du Sud is offering variousopen-air screeningsat dusk in different locations throughout Marseille.
As for this year’s lineup, variety takes center stage with a wide range of genres. Families can laugh along to Ice Age. Nostalgics will shiver with excitement watching North by Northwest. Music lovers will hum along to Bohemian Rhapsody. Travelers will be moved by Disco Afrika, whiledreamers will escape into Princes and Princesses. Not to mention other masterpieces like Princess Mononoke, A Star Is Born, All About My Mother, and WALL•E.
The commitments for this 2026 edition
This year, the festival renews its commitment to cultural accessibility with free screenings open to everyone. Through a diverse program, it also brings together audiences of all kinds around the art of cinema.
Continuing the tradition from the previous edition, the festival is also turning its attention to short films. As a result, some screenings will be preceded by the showing of a short film.
