Starting September 25, Parc Chanot will host the Marseille International Fair for a vibrant 2026 edition themed “The Mediterranean Takes Center Stage.” But the celebration starts right now: Marseille is already coming alive with a series of unique highlights, from a sun-drenched film festival at the Pathé theaters to an immersive Mediterranean garden at the Old Port and a major photo contest. Beyond these outdoor events, the program promises a total immersion in the craftsmanship and cuisine of the South. From exhibitor booths to creative workshops, not to mention gourmet evenings featuring DJ sets and concerts, discover a festive and welcoming event!
A cultural journey to the heart of the Mediterranean basin
For its latest edition, the Marseille International Fair puts “The Mediterranean in the Spotlight” and celebrates the art of living, crafts, and the cuisine of the South. But the event isn’t limited to Parc Chanot: Marseille comes alive well before the official opening thanks to “off-site” festivities. Since September 16, the Mediterranean Film Festival has been taking over the city’s Pathé theaters with a selection of sun-drenched classics such as *Mamma Mia! * and *The Big Blue*, offered at a special price of €10 with invitations up for grabs.

Starting September 19, the Old Port transforms into a haven of coolness. Seated under a pergola amid olive and lemon trees, visitors can enjoy a relaxing break accompanied by an immersive soundtrack, a lemonade bar, and gourmet tastings. The experience extends into the realm of creativity with a Grand Photography Contest, featuring ten finalist photos displayed at the Fair and then exhibited for a year at the Arenc ferry terminal.
The 2026 Marseille International Fair: the schedule of festivities
Starting September 25, Parc Chanot opens its doors with a free opening day for everyone—the perfect time to snag the best deals. With nearly a thousand exhibitors showcasing home goods, fashion, leisure, and outdoor activities, the Fair offers a true journey of discovery. Food lovers won’t be left out, thanks to a Mediterranean Food Court and a varied selection blending French regional specialties and international delicacies.

The experience continues with a program packed with interactive activities. Visitors can try their hand at virtual reality, learn about graffiti and live painting, create their own jewelry, or participate in calligraphy workshops. As for highlights, the Main Stage will host the official cast of *The Voice* on Sunday, September 27. Finally, as night falls, the Gourmet Evenings will take over with DJ sets by DJ Djel, a Gipsy concert, and a big free karaoke party.
