Marseille is a rap city, as we all know. And to live up to its reputation, Marseilles is hosting a major festival dedicated to the art form, Hip-Hop Non Stop. On the program:10 FREE days of rap, dance, masterclasses and open-mic in various venues around the city!
Hip-Hop Non Stop lands until September 15
Have you always dreamed of taking part in a musical masterclass, a hip-hop dance workshop or an open-mic? This is your lucky day. From September 4 to 15, Hip-Hop Non Stop will be getting Marseillais dancing in several of the city’s libraries and concert halls. Its ambition: to showcase local talent, represent as many styles as possible and offer free, open-air dates in several districts of the city to facilitate popular access.
Here’s the program:
September 5: Special Beatbox evening and meeting/debate around the documentary “beatbox therapy”, demo of different disciplines, open mic beatbox.
September 6 and 7: professional meetings (workshops, masterclasses) and apéro réseau
September 8: Tremplin and openmic “Rap2Mars” at Félix Piyat
September 13: rap, dance at La Plaine + TWK RAP STARZ Carte blanche Twerkistan at Espace Julien
September 14: rap, dance at Cité des arts de la rue
September 15: skate, rap, graff, dance on Place Charles de Gaulle (lower Canebière)
