This Thursday, August 1, the city of Marseille and the entire Bouches-du-Rhône department were placed on orange heatwave alert. The benefits of this protocol include free use of the city’s municipal swimming pools. We’ll explain!
Vigilance canicule orange: swimming pools free of charge from today August 1
Would you like to bathe in clear, clean water at no extra cost? It’s now possible in Marseille! No, we’re not referring to marseilles beaches but at the city’s municipal swimming pools.
From now until the end of the heatwave, you can swim in 15 pools free of charge. Here are the pools concerned, by arrondissement:
– In the 1st district: Saint-Charles swimming pool
– In the 4th district: the Vallier swimming pool
– In the 8th district: Bonneveine, Magnac and Pointe Rouge swimming pools
– In the 9th district: the Desautel swimming pool
– In the 10th district: Pont-De-Vivaux swimming pool
– In the 11th district: La Granière swimming pool
– In the 12th district: Bombardière and Louis Armand swimming pools
– In the 13th district: the Frais Vallon swimming pool
– In the 14th district: Busserine and Saint-Joseph swimming pools
– In the 15th district: La Martine swimming pool
